Welcome

Our migration engine requires temporary direct disk access. Please follow this wizard to perform the required DigitalOcean disk recovery steps.

1. Boot from Recovery

In your DigitalOcean Control Panel, navigate to your droplet, go to Settings ➡️ Recovery. Click on Edit, and change to Boot from Recovery ISO.

2. Power Cycle

Turn the droplet OFF, then back ON. This forces it to boot from the Live ISO instead of the hard disk.

3. Launch Console

Click on the Recovery Console button in the DO dashboard to launch the live menu.

4. Mount & Get Password

Wait for the prompt. Press 1 only. The temporary root password will be generated and shown there (e.g., xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx). Copy it and use it in this migration form.

You are now ready to migrate!

Migration Success!
